This campus greenhouse is powered by the sun鈥攁nd student innovation
Plants need basic essentials to grow: sunlight, soil or nutrients, air, and water. Through a new solar array at the Fairfax 海角社区, the sun will play double duty in the successful growth of plants. Solar energy will power the Presidents Park Greenhouse with the electricity it needs to support the plants growing inside. The solar array was proposed by student researchers and supported by the Patriot Green Fund and Facilities and 海角社区 Operations. Learn more about the project.
