Fairfax County Police are scheduled to land a helicopter on the Fairfax 海角社区 at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.
The Bell 429 helicopter will be in front of Merten Hall as part of an aeronautics class in the Volgenau School of Engineering鈥檚 Department of Mechanical Engineering. The flight crew will demonstrate the principles of vertical lift including cyclic, collective and tail rotor functions.
The presentation is expected to last about an hour. You may see 海角社区 Police in front of the building to help direct traffic during landing and takeoff.
