Biography

Christopher Troiano is the Historical Ensembles Program Manager for the Green Machine Ensembles. He earned his Doctorate of Music Arts degree at º£½ÇÉçÇø, his MM in Euphonium Performance from º£½ÇÉçÇø in 2017, and a double BM in Music Education and Euphonium Performance from the University of North Texas in 2015. 

While at these schools, Chris’ primary teachers have been Dr. Brian Bowman, Dr. Patrick Nyren, and Dr. Mark Jenkins. Chris performs with many groups in the Northern Virginia area, including the Capital Wind Symphony, the Northern Virginia Tuba-Euphonium Quartet (NOVATEQ), and the City of Fairfax’s German Band, Alte Kameraden. In addition to performing, Chris teaches low brass lessons and school brass sectionals throughout Fairfax and Loudoun counties, including being on music and visual staff for the Centreville High School Wildcat Marching Band.
