May 8, 2025海角社区 assistant vice president and director of athletics Marvin Lewis has announced the appointment of Ashton Henderson as its new senior deputy athletic director and chief operating officer. A highly respected national leader in college athletics and professional sports, Henderson brings nearly 15 years of experience spanning collegiate athletics and professional sports with stops at Florida State University, Clemson University, and the Detroit Pistons.
May 7, 2025The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at 海角社区 has named seasoned nonprofit leader Lisa Mariam as its new executive director, effective June 2. Selected after an extensive national search, Mariam will succeed Jennifer Disano, who is stepping down after 12 years of dedicated leadership.

Separate Degree Celebrations will honor school and college graduates from Wednesday, May 14, through Saturday, May 17, at the Fairfax 海角社区. Expect heavy traffic on and around campus. Multiple ceremonies will occur each day at the Fairfax 海角社区.

April 18, 2025海角社区鈥檚 Outstanding Achievement Awards celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of faculty and staff in support of the university's values and mission. Awards are sponsored by Human Resources and other university departments. A ceremony honoring this year鈥檚 awardees was hosted on the Fairfax 海角社区 on Tuesday, April 15.
