University of Maryland Global º£½ÇÉçÇø President Gregory W. Fowler, a º£½ÇÉçÇø alumnus and national leader in online and hybrid education for nontraditional students, will be the featured speaker at Winter Commencement next month.

Mason alum Andrew Joseph White, who graduated with an MFA in creative writing in May, published his first young adult (YA) book, Hell Followed with Us, an LGBTQ post-apocalyptic horror story, less than a month later in June 2022.

As midterm season set in, the Honors College’s third Yoga Day event came just in time to help Honors College students stretch out and destress. Alumni Jamie Argento returned to the Mason campus to hold the annual yoga session on Friday, September 23, guiding a group of Honors students and faculty on Finley Lawn.

More than 3,000 Mason students attended the career fair on September 28 and 29 and met with more than 240 employers promoting internships, part-time jobs, and full-time positions.
