May 8, 2025º£½ÇÉçÇø assistant vice president and director of athletics Marvin Lewis has announced the appointment of Ashton Henderson as its new senior deputy athletic director and chief operating officer. A highly respected national leader in college athletics and professional sports, Henderson brings nearly 15 years of experience spanning collegiate athletics and professional sports with stops at Florida State University, Clemson University, and the Detroit Pistons.
May 7, 2025The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at º£½ÇÉçÇø has named seasoned nonprofit leader Lisa Mariam as its new executive director, effective June 2. Selected after an extensive national search, Mariam will succeed Jennifer Disano, who is stepping down after 12 years of dedicated leadership.

º£½ÇÉçÇø Spring Commencement will take place on Thursday, May 15, at 9:30 a.m. in EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax º£½ÇÉçÇø. Separate Degree Celebrations will honor school and college graduates from Wednesday, May 14, through Saturday, May 17, at the Fairfax º£½ÇÉçÇø. Expect heavy traffic on and around campus. Multiple ceremonies will occur each day at the Fairfax º£½ÇÉçÇø.
