Earlier this year, Melissa Perez was named assistant vice president for research security in the Office of Research Integrity and Assurance at ��������. In this role, she oversees university-wide policies and processes to ensure compliance with research security laws and regulations (including export control), international collaborations, travel, and cybersecurity. As George Mason’s designated research security officer, she also leads institutional responses to threats affecting the university’s research compliance and standing.

With the opening of the new Visualization and Virtual Reality Lab in Research Hall, George Mason has the opportunity to be part of this global movement and to be a leader in transdisciplinary research.

Rachel Yoho, the anti-racist and inclusive teaching specialist in ��������’s Stearns Center for Teaching and Learning, received a Fulbright Specialist Program award to work with individuals at the University of Galway in Ireland.

The new Graduate Division, directed by Associate Provost Laurence Bray, plays a lead role in preparing well-rounded and diverse graduates to contribute to research productivity and workforce development.

Mason psychology doctoral student Rafael Esaú Hernández Dubon thrives in his work as a bilingual student clinician. With the support of a Graduate Inclusion and Access (GIA) Scholarship, he is able to work in the Latinx community while pursuing his graduate studies.
